Check him out, I know I should have done this sooner but I comepletely forgot:(

I just wanted to address everyone's questions at once, so I'll do so here:)

Yes, it hurt, but only at first. After the 4th or 5th piercing (there were 32) my brain decided to release a bunch of endorphines and I was basically on a natural high. Coupled with the fact that I was meditating throughout the experience, it was actually quite enjoyable, to be honest. It was definitely a beautiful experience, I'd love to do it again. I enjoy being pierced to some degree as well.
I left the whole thing in for a day, just so I could show it off, but it was done just for the shoot, so the jewelry put into it wasn't the right kind to have if I wanted to keep it. I left the top 4 and the bottom two that were in my back dimples for a week afterwards, because I was going to Saskatoon for my birthday and wanted to show it off a little:) This picture is actually on the business card of the piercer, so it didn't cost me a thing, which was nice.
From start to finish I think it took somewhere between 2-3 hours, because he had to map out where everything was going to go and what not. The worst part was actually getting my back drawn on, because I had a big sheet covering my front, I was standing ridiculously straight and it was hot - I almost passed out at one point.
So no, it's not photoshopped onto my back, no I didn't leave it in, no it didn't really hurt, didn't cost me a thing, didn't scar very much(there's little tiny dots down my back, but that's it) I enjoyed the hell out of the experience, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat:)
Thank you for the kind words everyone:) If I missed any points, let me know!

Woven by ~everythingsbroken Although the suggester had few words to share, the image's composition and use of color elegantly contrasts the nature of the temporary body piercing. It is also important to note the credits given to the piercer and all parties involved. (Suggested by =simonsaz3 and Featured by ^Battledress)

Im going to try and get a piercing like that down my spine as well. I think it looks really pretty. How much of a hassel is that? Lol

It's cool, but I wouldn't recommend trying to keep it. It took a long time to do, and has a very high rejection rate...actually, unless you get it properly done, there's like a 99.9% rejection rate. I only kept it in for a day. It was hard to handle after a few hours.

I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand what you mean with the rejection rate thing. The piercing itself, or if it's laced too tightly. I'm just wondering because I've never heard complaints about them. I really love the picture, by the way.

What's the point in dreaming, if you don't dream big?

What I meant was that corset piercings have a very high chance of your skin pushing the rings out. Think about it. You have a normal, holeless back. Then you stick 32 rings in it. Because the ring is round, and in your skin, the skin around it is squeezed by the ring. And it will keep squeezing, until the ring is forced out. It's your body's natural reaction to forgeign objects. If they had d-rings put in, they'd be less likely to reject due to the reduced stress on each piercing, but because of where it is, and all the motion your back goes through on a daily basis, it would be difficult to heal, unless you did them one at a time. I did not. I did it for the photo and then took it out. And thanks:) I'm glad you liked it!

Yeah I got it caught on a few things. I kept it in for an evening and went out to show it off... That was interesting that's for sure.
It didn't cost me anything, the picture was for a business card a piercer friend of mine was having made. He's making a series of them in different colors, I got to be blue:)
